Jammu, Apr 09 (KNO): In order to oversee the preparations for the upcoming Parliamentary elections on Jammu Lok sabha seat, police observer Bhopal Gajarai today visited district police office Reasi. According to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), the police observer held a meeting with district election officer Reasi (Deputy Commissioner) Vishesh Paul Mahajan, Senor Superintendent of Police (SSP) Reasi Mohita Sharma and other police officers. Speaking on the occasion, Gajarai asked police officers to remain vigilant to any concerns arising during these elections and advised them to strictly adhere to election rules and regulations in ensuring free and fair elections besides continuing their work with dedication. Both DEO and SSP briefed the police observer regarding the election preparedness including enforcement of model code of conduct, expenditure monitoring, security plan, transport and communication plan and the functioning of VSTs and FSTs and coordination efforts to ensure a successful election process. During a powerpoint presentation SSP presented a report on the action taken so far and preparedness of the Lok Sabha elections.
